This was a super cute story! This was my first Bea Borges book and I loved it. She certainly has a way with words and I couldn’t put it down. Rhett and Winnie were both lovable characters and their childhood friends to lovers, second chance romance was a blast to read. They had great chemistry and Rhett was just the sweetest.

What to expect:
🏒 Ex NHL player turned HS hockey coach
🧁 Childhood friends to lovers
🏒 Second chance romance
🧁 Small town
🏒 Slow burn - fade to black
🧁 Brother’s best friend
🏒 Anxiety rep
🧁 She owns a bakery
🏒 Colorado setting

Bea is an indie author and this was her debut novel. With that being said, there are some editing issues that came into play with this book that I suspect improves in her next books.
