This is my second full reread of the book (and I'm planning to reread the full series).
The world-building in this series is a really interesting and unique one. I don't think I can make a good review on this book right now as I still remember most of the details from my first read, but I really enjoyed the book nonetheless. One thing that I really enjoy about Lisa McMann's books is the writing style; it's one that I am extremely fond of.
I gave this book a four out of five stars mainly because of the pacing. Some parts seemed to zoom by too quickly while others seemed to be unnecessarily dragged out. That didn't really interfere with my overall point of view of the book, and I would have rather given it a 4.5/5 as opposed to a 4/5.
