Let me wipe my tears before I write this. I read Satan's Affair and the Cat and Mouse Duet. I really liked them all, but Hunting Adeline came out on top. That being said, I might have to put this book on the same step or even a step higher, if even only a half step. This book had me from the first page.
Anticipation can be bad. When you build up an expectation sometimes it's hard to live up to that. But this did not disappoint.

H.D. has a beautiful way of writing the healing that can come after trauma. I absolutely adore how she makes her female characters reclaim their femininity and sexuality. She allows them the time to heal in both expected and unexpected/maybe non-traditional ways. Molly was no different. And thankfully she had Cage to help her along.

This book took me right back to Hunting and all of the emotion that that book brought forward. However, seeing everything from Molly's eyes and the journey that she went on swept me right into the book and on her trip with her. I love how there were so many interconnected characters and parts throughout this book.

You get a sneak peek of some things to come and reunite with some pretty special people. I expected this book to be really incredibly dark, but it actually had a lightness to it that contradicted some of my expectations. If you are going to read it, make sure that you read the first three before this one or it will not make much sense.

I really can't say enough.
