Logan lives with his dad in Xanadu, Wyoming. His mom had left him when he was young. One morning, Logan woke up to find feathers around the room. These feathers seemed to be turning up everywhere.
He came home from school to find a baby griffin under his bed. When two kids from his school, Zoe and Blue, started acting strangely, he knew that his griffin was connected. He named the griffin Squorp.
Squorp kept talking about the Menagerie, so Logan asked him to take him there. Once he was through a gate, an alarm sounded. Two people came rushing to the gate. Those two people were Zoe and Blue.
Logan told them all about what had happened. What shook them was that he could hear Squorp talk, humans couldn't. Zoe and Blue told him how griffins had started to disappear and how SNAPA, the government agncy who controls menageries, would shut them down if they found out that griffins were missing.
They worked as a team to find the other griffins and snuck back and put them back.
Zoe and Blue were both grateful for helping to find the missing griffins.
