A great ending to the Enzo Files series, this book was quite fast paced compared to the previous instalments due to the secondary plot line with Sophie and Bertrand going on from the start.
This book also managed to wrap up the last two cold cases in one (although this was a little bit rushed towards the end). I thought that the murder itself was left a little forgotten amongst all the revelations at the end of the book, hence why it felt a little rushed and not fully thought out.
There were a few more twists in store for Enzo’s family as well, as well as his fairly crowded love life.
I did like that we finally discovered who has been trying to kill Enzo for the past 5 books and it came as no surprise to me, but was still satisfying nonetheless.
I wish we could have seen Sophie and Bertrand reunited at the end of the book, but other than that the closing pages were good
