I really enjoyed this one! I picked this up randomly and started reading it on the spot. I was instantly caught by a scene at the airport where Audrey, and Asian American, is talking to a white woman at an airport and the white woman asks where Audrey is from. Audrey’s white fiancé chimes in and says she’s Illinois, “but if you’re wondering what kind of Asian she is, it’s really none of your fucking business.”
