Gosh, what is there to even say?
I Wish is a stunning look into how grief can shape you, how holding onto it can break you, and how finding someone to simply stay with you in the dark can empower you.
The mental health representation, family dynamics, depiction of therapy... all of it was done so well.
I appreciated that Miles part in Briar's story wasn't one where he comes in and "fixes" her. He simply supports her while she does the work for herself.
Loved seeing all the different facets of family relationships and especially loved Briar standing up for herself and finally allowing herself to feel and heal and grow.
