Solid, exciting adventure. My least favorite in the series but doesn’t make it bad. This one has a darker, heavier tone than the others. Re-reading after a long time, and maybe it’s my recent mood, but I’m noticing how angry, snarky everyone is to one another. There are so funny moments, and many of the villains get their comeuppance. Morwen and her cats are just the best. This book focuses in on her perspective rather than Cimorene.  All in all a good comfort read to start the winter season.
