Such a fresh take on a mystery novel. A perfect mix of emotional, mysterious and cozy. I love that the novel is mostly written from the perspectives of an older generation because it's a perspective that we don't get to see very often. We tend to forget that the elderly have entire lives behind them and that they are in a phase of life where their partners and best friends are dying and getting sick constantly... A tragedy that we as young people get to ignore for a long time to come. I found all the characters so lovable and will be reading the next book the series ASAP!
