House of Sky and Breath by Sarah J. Maas
5.0
WARNING 1
If you don't have strong hands , this book is not for you. This is so much heavy that you may have to keep it on a physical surface and read . Further , there's a risk of giving serious damages to the book if you accidentally drop it while gasping at a plot twist
WARNING 2
If you are over sensitive , this book is not for you. You must be strong enough to confront constant emotional blueballs to finish the book.
Anyway , I thought this heavy monster is no better than the book #1 . Halfway through the book , I changed my mind. There are more characters , more insights to their lives and I wonder how SJM was able to write them all within 800 pages.
About Brythalar , the more you read the more the ship gets stronger . So do their powers. There were indeed some smut here and there with a lot of lightning. But overall I love the sassy relationship.
Day and Night! Well that was something more. I wish we could read more about this dreamy ship in the Crescent City #3 . I want this enemies to lovers trope and our princelin Ruhn happier. I love it as much as Ruhn loved it when Day whispered his name !
And Danika ! I am curious to know what other secrets the brat had. Eventhough she is no longer in life , she is still 10 steps ahead of everyone. I love that friendship and everything about Danika.
Bryce is the most savage female protagonist I've ever encountered and everything everything and everything about the book is flawless.
I wonder when the book #3 will be released and what colour it would be and whether I will be able to survive this substantial emotional damage !!!
