The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer by Michelle Hodkin

2.0

I absolutely loved the first 300 pages of this. Loved it. The following 50 pages tailed off a bit, but I thought it was just a rough patch. But the final 100 pages were terrible. Confusing, pointless and a bit of a mess. This angered me so much, as I adored the beginning. It went from 5*-favourite to 3*-almost-2*-uncertain-whether-I-like-it-or-not in 100 pages. That must be a new record. Now very unlikely to continue this series, which is a shame, as I was anticipating it being a favourite. I have been left feeling very let down by this book.

09/07/2015 *DROPPED FROM 3 STARS TO 2* - In hindsight and after another skim-read, I have rediscovered how Mara drops all of her principles for a 'hot' guy in a '50 Shades of Grey' remake which actually frustrates me a lot now that I think about it.
