I have loved every single moment of Victoria Wilder's Bourbon Boys trilogy. I am sad to see it coming to an end, but god, it certainly goes out on a high note with "Bourbon & Proof." This book is AMAZING, and I did not want it to end. I have waited with bated breath for Ace and Haldey's story, and it does NOT disappoint. Marriage of convenience has become one of my favorite tropes, and Ace and Hadley's story is even more *chef's kiss* because they have loved each other for so long that it's really not a convenience at all. I LOVE THIS COUPLE. I love how strong yet vulnerable Hadley is, and I love how brooding and responsible Ace is. I love how they bring out the best in each other, make each other feel complete, make each other feel safe. I loved seeing the other Foxx brothers and their partners, and of course, Griz! My god, the tension! the pining! the yearning! the longing! the SPICE! the family dynamics! the banter! the teasing! the drama! the intrigue! Everything about this book is sheer perfection. I am SO sad this series is over, but I cannot wait to see what Victoria Wilder writes next. I hope this series gets picked up by a trad publisher because it deserves it!
