I had high hopes for this based on the average review rating but ended up disappointed. The story was predictable with storylines that had some drama but nothing that couldn’t be tied up quickly and neatly. I found the writer very repetitive with the main character repeating things that had happened multiple times. I get trying to introduce the story to other characters but I feel like this could have been handled better. To the reader it felt like the author didn’t trust we got something the first five times it was mentioned.
