Daisy Jones & The Six by Taylor Jenkins Reid

emotional inspiring lighthearted sad medium-paced

5.0

At first….I was nervous. The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo is my favorite book of all time & I recently read & fell in love with Malibu Rising. & the beginning of this book had me questioning the hype, & my streak for rating TJR 5/5 stars.

I will admit that the way this book is written took me longer than I thought it would to get into. That being said once I did get into it, I loved it. This book reads like a docuseries. I loved getting the story from so many different POVs.

This book had me wishing I was alive during this time, adding more music to my playlists from the 70s (I already had a bunch but ugh this book had me craving something I’ve never experienced. I wish I was THERE, ya know?)

It was beautiful & chaotic & I was rooting for everyone & no one at the same time.

I love books & movies & tv about music & the music industry & this one is one of my favorites.
