A Good Girl's Guide to Murder by Holly Jackson

dark mysterious tense fast-paced

3.5

I'm not a mystery/thriller/YA reader, but I quite enjoyed this! I went with the audiobook version and listening to the character voices made it much more immersive. Naturally, with these kinds of genres, I find that there is a lot of slow, intricate buildup that sparks my curiosity and then everything comes tumbling down at the end and I never feel fully satisfied. That being said, I like how the book wrapped up some parts in a neat little bow while still not answering every question. It's a bit like leaving the door ajar.
