Love Him Breathless by E.M. Lindsey

medium-paced

2.25

I really enjoyed the first book in this series, and generally really like E.M. Lindsey's writing, but this book just left me in consternation. I was looking forward to Fitz's book, but Antoine is just . . . like, his main character trait seems to be attracting catastrophe. The number of accidents and misfortunes that befall him is literally unbelievable. I never felt the attraction between them, because they start off at odds and annoyed with each other, and I didn't buy that that truly changed.

I'm gonna chalk this one up to experience, but I'll definitely read more from this author.
