The cast of characters was adorable, and once the story got going, the pacing - alternating between intense erotic moments and genuine emotional reflection and growth - quite enjoyable. I found the beginning to be a bit forced, in the sense that I didn't think Miles' choices were consistent with what little we knew of his personality at that point. However, I can forgive that failing in light of the rest of the book. Come for the smut, stay for the emotional equivalent of the warm, fuzzy blanket.
