The Devil in the White City: Murder, Magic, and Madness at the Fair That Changed America by Erik Larson

informative slow-paced

3.0

Kinda frustrating to read if you're going into it thinking it's an H.H. Holmes book.

It's about the 1893 World's Fair featuring H.H. Holmes.

His writing reminded me a lot of Charles Dickens in that he has way too many descriptions of buildings/Chicago.

Definitely enjoyable to read, but not my cup of tea.
