Lispector has an interesting style of writing which pervades the book. It’s a chaotic continuous style with deep insights and humorous dialogue, yet able to a create tension at the end. Regardless, I found the beginning a bit slow and every page a bit too hard hitting. I’m interested to read more ny Lispector but am unable to give this book more than 3.75 stars.
