2.0

I feel the need to say this, because people assume a 2/5 is always a bad rating. It isn’t in my case.

This book was ok, as I didn’t build much attachment to the characters and that is the bulk of my rating. The way it was written reminds me of Hide and Seeker by Daka Harmon. If you enjoyed that, I think you would like this book.

I’m pretty sure this is the author’s debut novel, and there’s grace in that, so I am intrigued to see what they write next. Hopefully the next book will showcase more of the mystery creature/cryptoid than It Came From the Trees did.
