Did not finish book. Stopped at 17%.
A Prime First Reads pick and my first DNF of the year.
I made it through less than 20% of the book, and it felt like pulling teeth. I couldn’t stand the main character or her family, and miscommunication/lack of communication will be my least favorite plot device from now until the world ends.
Maybe I’ll circle back to this when I’m not dealing with personal things that come a little too close to this book, but I doubt it.
For the TWs, I didn’t really get far enough to have useful info to share!
