For a YA book, I actually really enjoyed this book. Surprisingly, it has been way too long since I last read a sci-fi/space genre book (even though I LOVE watching TV shows or movies of this genre). Anyways, the plot of this book was intriguing and interesting. Definitely could tell it was a YA book, so perhaps the characters didn't have the sort of depth you would find in a more adult book, but the main characters are teens, and they sure acted like it. Maybe I am getting too old, but wow, at parts I found the teen characters to be very immature and annoying, but isn't that what teens are? Comparing it to other YA books, I think 4 stars was deserving. I'm looking forward to reading the next book!
