The start of Last Day was very promising - years after her mother was murdered at her art gallery & a painting was stolen, Beth is found dead & the same painting that had been found was stolen again.
I didn't guess the ending - but I found that to be more because this book was a little bit all over the place, so the ending came out of left field - instead of it being due to the ending making total sense but still being disguised. It was okay overall, but I've read better mysteries.
