Interesting concept. I like to try the 'twist on fairy tales' genre and this one is imaginative and very vivid, with strong characters and a good, political, active plot.
Will probably source out the next books in the series as it's not a stand-alone.
My little niggles:
(1) I don't believe that 'coronated' is a real word.
(2) A few lines at the ball scene seemed to have been directly lifted from the Drew Barrymore Cinderella film Ever After!
