I am requesting from the library so many children's books that I never read as a child but seem to come up often in conversation with other readers and are referenced frequently in pop culture. This one is certainly part of the zeitgeist. As an art history grad, I love the idea that these kids would hide out in the Met and try to solve a mystery about a sculpture, how glamourous! Lovely light reading for a rainy day.
