Ship of Fools by Katherine Anne Porter
3.0

I wasn't sure if I was going to like this book when I first started reading it. I'm not a big fan when a book has many "main" characters-it tends to get a little confusing. However, Mrs. Porter did include a chart at the front of the book, which helped immensely. I do like when you get to "see" into lives of the characters. I feel like I am let in on the secrets in their lives. The book is set before WW II and you can feel the tension in the air and that a war is approaching. There is a lot of hostility towards the Jewish passengers. I did end up liking the book, but I can't say it was one of my favorites.
