All this time spent so invested in The Mortal Instruments series, I'd almost forgotten how amazing this series is. Well, this reread reminded me!
This book made me want to happy cry, sad cry, nostalgic cry and just cry cry. I don't think I felt this many emotions the first time I read it. But something I've noticed with books that are fast paced and in which the characters are in mortal danger, during the first read, you're so worried out of you mind that the authir is going to kill a really important character or all characters, that you can't seem to stop and just... feel the emotions.
But when you re-read that book, you already know what's gonna happen so you can take your time with the scenes that are really cute or sweet or heartwrentching and savour them.
This was a beautiful book with beautiful characters and writing and story and everything else. I can definitely see myself reading it atleast a few more times...
