I've never really 'gotten' this author, and this book exemplifies why; though the story could be excellent and spun out into a great novel, in reality a fundamentally good idea is let down by unrealistic environments and situations. In addition- the twist in the plot pretty much spelled out very early on, so that there wasn't any tone of surprise or any excitement for the build up to the end. I'm sure if Hollywood got a hold of this premise they could take it so much further!
