Hex Wives by Ben Blacker, Mirka Andolfo, Marissa Louise

Well, that was fun. I actually wish it had been paced a little slower though. The intro was A Lot and I felt a bit overwhelmed, but I thought the book really shined once it got into its weird Stepford Wives, isolated-gaslight-women groove. I think the slow dawning horror and realization of their situation was really the best part of the book and the peeling back of layers and lies was really exciting and fun. But then they kinda blew the doors off the whole story and things started moving WAY too quickly and got super chaotic immediately. All the atmospheric dread and careful buildup was pretty much exploded right away and I wish it had been drawn out a bit more.

But it was still a really fun comic and I do recommend it. Just be aware that the pacing is a little crazy.
