This book was just whimsical and fun from start to finish (though I appreciated the author note saying to not think too hard about the animal sizes - I found myself overthinking that but too much as I read and had to just push those thoughts away and fall into this magical, wonderful world). I loved the mystery, and the character descriptions. This is the kind of place I would love to live, and I’m so excited this is a series because I will be reading more.
