The Hate U Give by Angie Thomas

5.0

The Hate U Give opened up my eyes about a lot thing things happening in the world and I'm sure it did to many other readers. The story is very hard hitting bc of how accurate it is, although it is a fictional story with fictional it is something that happens too often making it more real.

I felt myself getting so angry while reading it as it made me see how messed up the world is even now and that's what this book is supposed to do, you have to speak and make sure your voice is heard or nothings going to change. I love how influential this book is and I hope we see many more like it, changing the mindset of young people and help changing the world.

I just watched the trailer for the film and it has me so excited, I believe the film and book will both open up people's eyes into whats going on and help make an effect on society. Roll on October!!
