Never Never: Part Three
by Colleen Hoover, Tarryn Fisher
LOVED this series, I really did. But after thinking about it -- this last book didn't concretely explain anything at all as it pertains to the cause of Charlie and Silas' "amnesia." Yes, we were given their personal speculations as to what could have caused it, but there was no clarification or evidence to support anything one way or the other. We as readers were left wondering and hypothesizing our own opinions about what could have happened, which I guess in some cases makes for a great fictional book. However, when a story is broken up into 3 parts I usually expect a grand explanation or reveal by the end of it.
Come to think of it I am now questioning a lot of things. Maybe I'm being stupid but the nurse in book 2 - Cora's mother - was she giving Charlie pills and keeping her locked up as revenge on Brett for abandoning her? I guess that would make most sense UGH I just wish I had more concrete answers.
So all in all, I loved the series, but was somewhat disappointed by the overall outcome. I still really enjoyed reading this third book though.
