My summary: Rosie treats her sister, Bree, to an expensive spa package together on Valentine’s Day. Rosie ends up locked in a float tank, which is her typical luck in life, and they have to call the fire department to get her out. Leo is tasked with talking to her and keeping her calm while they figure out how to free her, and they connect through their talking while they wait.
My thoughts: It’s hard to have expectations of story development in 44 pages, but this took a lot of leaps that I just wasn’t feeling. The humor mostly missed the mark for me too. And I love float tanks and they’re not at all like they’re described here, so, yeah, this one is not my favorite of this collection of short meet cutes.
