Notes on a Nervous Planet
by Matt Haig
I had no idea I needed to read this book and I'm so glad I finally decided to pick it up specially since the day before I had one of those bad days.
Although I don't relate to SOME of the thinks Matt Haig says as everyone's coping mechanism or experience is of course different but I found myself crazily relating a lot to him. The idea of worrying too much, having anxiety about everything, getting stressed out and overall hating the world I live in. If I read this book 2 years ago when I had my mental breakdown I probably wouldn't of made it past chapter 1. It's really a book for people who have surpassed the black void but still working out how to fully become better for yourself and be happier with your currently life and understanding the world a bit better.
Anyway this book was beautiful it's everything I could of ever wanted to read about mental health and more. It's the perfect example and I believe it should be read by everyone. I've never read a book like this before as I find myself eye rolling on mental health books but this one was perfect.
I'm definitely going to be thinking about this book for months to come and I'm going to be sharing it with my family and friends.
Thank you for this book Matt Haig out of all the books I could of picked up today I'm really glad I picked up yours.🖤
