I enjoyed getting Illarion’s backstory, but again I hate how she changes the format of some books. Either they should all have had the backstory or none should.
And I hate when she puts in long scenes from a previous book with literally no changes. At the very least start that recap just before the new information.
I know it’s my choice to keep reading, but she just makes me frustrated.
