Easily my new favorite Emily Austin novel after Interesting Facts About Space (though I’ve loved them all). It’s hard to think of another book that has ever given such a tender depiction of the depth of twisted, gnarled love that can live between sisters. Sigrid’s character has helped me understand my own sister on another level and reflect on our upbringing in a really heartbreaking way. If my sister ever sees this review, I love you so much and would die for you. I’d make bomb threats for you, and I know that we are rats together in another lifetime.
