Hallowe'en Party by Agatha Christie
4.0

At a Halloween party, 13 year old Joyce announces that she has witnessed a murder. Upset when nobody at the party believes her, she storms off. Hours later, Joyce is found drowned in an apple-bobbing tub. Enter Hercule Poirot. And let the mystery solving begin!

This was my first Agatha Christie mystery. This was chosen as a little buddy read with some friends for our officially unofficial book club, and i love a good whodunnit so was really excited to get into this. With the murder happening at a Halloween party, it had a lot of fun elements that got me ready for Halloween! I enjoyed it as it got started, but as it continued I was a little underwhelmed. I found myself at a point where I just wanted to know who had done it already! I really do love this genre and have gotten other Agatha Christie recs, so I’m excited to see what else she has for me!

For myself, I would rate it 3.5/5, rounded up to 4!
