i enjoyed reading a main character who was flawed and morally grey. the fights felt genuine, the struggles were authentic, the decisions were thought out and real, not some plot armor god tier thinker who has things work out for them just because they set out for their goals. i think the ending was a bit lacking, i wish she either didnt add that part or fleshed it out further as it felt really rushed and included for shock value. towards the end of the book Reid did set it up, but it wasn’t really set up well in the first two thirds of the book to really make it impactful
