The poetry is terrible, the characters are flat, the magic system is mid, and the author can't seem to stop her impulse towards mixed/nonsensical metaphors. This felt super juvenile, and this on top of a 2009 - tumblr-era male love interest named 'Ravyn.' Hard pass (though i did try, because of the hype).
