False Start by Felice Stevens
4.25

I enjoyed this book, it’s the third standalone within a series and features Fallon and Patrick ‘Trick’ as a second chance romance.

The couple met for the first time. At an anonymous, discrete club where they shared first times and met forming an intense anonymous relationship over months. When Fallon accidentally uncovered his partners identity he runs away, scared of what damage their relationship may do if it came to light.

The book is primarily set ten years after this with Fallon becoming Patrick’s personal assistant, the book has yearning, strong emotions throughout, a new commitment, and enough angst with going too far.

In the end I liked their relationship, and their ending was lovely. The book was paced enough to keep me engaged throughout and held my interest. Enjoyable
