this was a lovely read, but it took me awhile to finish due to work and school. i was determined to finish it though. mikuta is brilliant at creating hard hitting one liners, and i loved how she portrayed both of her povs. you could really tell a difference between them.
my main critique is that the side cast fell away, and they weren’t really memorable. i also think that eris moved on a little quickly from her ex, and i wish milo’s character was explored a bit more. he was a very compelling concept, but he was brushed to the side. i haven’t picked up the sequel yet, but i’m excited for where the story goes!
