One True Loves by Taylor Jenkins Reid
2.0
There are spoilers in here BECAUSE I NEED TO VENT. Y'all have no idea what this book did to me. It had me angry, disappointed, happy, a wreck and confused as all hell.
Emma Blair is given an ultimatum that will change her life. She has to pick between the love of her life in her teens/early twenties and her current fiancé when her husband shows up out of nowhere having swam a billion miles or something. After years of finally getting to a good place and accepting the loss of her husband, she moves home, takes over her families bookstore (so jealous) and develops a wonderful relationship with her sister.
I'm sure Jesse is great and handsome and is now missing a pinky but I never liked him.
I could not imagine being put into this situation that she was and thank goodness for that. What I can tell you is that I was openly yelling "SHE BETTER NOT ABANDON THOSE CATS" while reading this book.
She made the right choice by picking HER DAMN CATS & Sam.
