Valley
By Stacey McEwan
Valley is the third and final book in the Glacian Trilogy. Dawsyn Sabar of the Ledge, has gone to the Chasm to find a better life for her people. The Chasm is unknown to most, so they must tread carefully. Yennes is the only survivor to have traveled through the Chasm and lived, but not without cost. Dawsyn cannot take her people back to the forgotten village, for the Queen is looking for her, and the new Glacian King is hunting for her, after leaving him battered and bloody on the Ledge. Dawsyn must lead her people blindly into the unknown, with limited supplies, and an unknown illness starting to take over the people, all while Dawsyn and Yennes’ magic is waning. Will Dawsyn, her friends, and the people of the Ledge survive, or will all be lost?
I loved the multiple POVs of this book. Valley was a fantastic final book. All of the questions that I had in Ledge and Chasm were answered. I miss Baltisse so much! This book had me cracking up and crying all in one go. Stacey wrapped up the trilogy beautifully! I will 100% reread the entire series over and over again. I love the dynamic of Dawsyn and Ryons’ relationship. I also appreciate that their relationship does not overshadow the importance of saving the people of the Ledge and the injustice that the Ledge people and the half Glacians have gone through.
This book is 5/5!!! Thank you Stacey for such an amazing book, and I hope you write so many more!
