Murder in the Bayou: Who Killed the Women Known as the Jeff Davis 8? by Ethan Brown

informative medium-paced

3.0

I really like true crime podcasts, and have been incorporating more true crime into my reading as well. Although I find the topic important, and exposing the corruption in Jefferson Davis Parish important I unfortunately had a difficult time getting into this book. There were times I felt I was reading a newscast transcript as it often felt like a rambling of facts rather than a story. I think that style might work for some readers so I don’t want to yuck your yum if that’s what you like, but it’s just not my writing style.
