dark informative medium-paced

This is a very informative book about schizophrenia and how they are/were treated. I liked the mix of history, real life experiences, and his own life. It's interesting to the different stories about police reports and how schizophrenia comes to be. It is kind of scary to think that people could have it in their genes, but have no idea till in there twenties. Hearing his own story with his sons is sad, but also very eye opening to how even a happy family can be prone to disasters. It can be slow, so I had to switch to audio, but it is really worth reading.
