Finally taking the time to review this properly lol.

Scythe is a masterful piece of storytelling. Everything about this book, from the world building, to the characterisation, to the writing & plot. Scythe was a book that impressed me immensely, and will forever live in my heart.

Honestly, I've never seen a character that I've connected to as much as Citra Terranova. Her steadfastness, her wit & tact, her brazenness. I truly loved her and felt for her. Rowan Damisch was a character that made sense as a protagonist. His motivations were clear and he was enjoyable to read.

The world building impressed me immensely. For a long time to be completely honest I didn't even notice it. It provided the barebones of the universe, went into immense detail and fully immersed me into the world. It also provided great characterisation (Scythe Curie I am looking at you).

Literally everything about this book was great.
