This for me is what I would class as a cosy read. It was fun, emotional, beautifully written and so engaging.
I really didn’t know what direction this book was going to take in the beginning as it is quite a short read but I wasn’t disappointed, so much was packed in.
This FMC is messy, real and full of growth. In the beginning she came off really immature and spoilt which was a bit frustrating but as you get deeper you start to understand why she is this way and it really makes you feel protective of her.
I kept waiting for that turning point where she discovers how powerful she is and how many fox tails she has, and though that point never came I’m happy it opens it up for a book 2 I’m not ready to leave this world yet.
