Yumi and the Nightmare Painter
by Brandon Sanderson
This was a slow start for me (coming off of Rhythm of War), but once I got into it, I was hooked. I loved how Yumi and Painter grew together and helped each other. The ending/reveal of the main conflict was so surprising, I did not see that coming at all. Most of all, I'm glad it had a happy ending, where Yumi could stay in the home she'd made in Painter's life.
Highly recommend; I think this will be most appreciated by those who have already read at least some Cosmere, but those approaching it without any knowledge won't be too left in the dark.
