The Murderer's Daughter
by Jonathan Kellerman
Just like the Alex Delaware books, a mile-a-minute thriller, but this time with a ruthless survivalist heroine at the helm. Grace is such a fascinating combination of compassion and isolation -- in some ways she treads right on the edge of sociopath, but since she pretty much exclusively uses her powers for good, it's impossible not to root for her.
