I really liked this book.
There are a lot of different plots going on at once in this book, although it takes a large portion of the book before we start to see how everyone lives twist together. I had already guessed the ‘plot twist’ regarding War’s father, and I have a feeling I know where this is going, but it’s isn’t deterring me from the book.
There are a lot of different characters in this, hood rats, prissy uptight snobs, psychotic people, crazy but loving people, motorcycle clubs… this books really does have a bit of everything.
The smut was great, very spicy and there was enough that it doesn’t deter from the plot.
Now the only reason it isn’t 5* is some of the writing was a bit sloppy for me, some things I had to re read a few times to understand what was going on. Also (although not applicable to me) there are no trigger warnings for this book. There is a lot of non consensual stuff from the get go so this I’ve noticed in the comments, has triggered people.
